The Primes Choir and Apprentice Choir provided morning entertainment for the residents of John Knox Village during their monthly Koffee Klatch. Under the direction of Artistic Director Wallis Peterson and Associate Director Gretchen Fasulo, the choirs presented selections from their upcoming winter concert “Timbrel and Harp” as well as inviting the audience to sing along with a collection of holiday favorites.

The Concert Choir was accepted to participate in the 2010 Crescent City Choral Festival, hosted by the New Orleans Children’s Chorus. The festival clinicians were Cheryl Dupont of the NOCC and Dr. David Brunner of the University of Central Florida. In addition to taking an educational and historical tour of the city, our choristers presented a joint concert with choristers and alumni of the NOCC, performed for patients in a local children’s hospital, assisted with humanitarian relief efforts in the city, and sang as part of the massed choir in the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral.
