Our Base of Support  The Girl Choir is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that receives support from a variety of sources, including fundraising activities, government and private grants, ticket and concession sales, and individual and corporate donations.
However, the overwhelming majority of our support comes directly from fees and tuition paid by our members. Your tuition dollars enable us to purchase music and uniforms, lease rehearsal, performance, and office space, buy office supplies, process your payments, perform our administrative tasks, run our web site, and pay our staff and accompanists. Without your support, our program would not be possible. Annual Tuition Rates and DiscountsFor your tuition payment, your singer will receive: - A challenging and rewarding high-quality music education,
- Multiple opportunities to perform for the community,
- Use of a concert uniform for the season, and
- A Girl Choir t-shirt to keep
Every member of the Girl Choir pays a $50 registration fee each year in addition to tuition. Tuition may be paid monthly, at the start of each semester, or at the start of the season.
- Primes Choir Annual Tuition - $575
- Apprentice Choir Annual Tuition - $575
- Concert Choir Annual Tuition - $895
We make the following tuition discounts available:
- $100 off for paying for an entire year in advance.
- $50 off ($25 per semester) for paying for an entire semester in advance
- $50 off for each additional sibling (for families with multiple girls in the choir)
Financial AssistanceOne of our goals is to make our program available to all interested girls in our community. To achieve that goal, our Board of Directors makes available a limited amount of tuition assistance each season to families with a demonstrated financial need (click here for an application form). Refund PolicyAll monies paid to the Girl Choir of South Florida are non-refundable.
