2020-2021 Registration is Open

We all miss the incomparable experience of singing together side by side. However, the severity and contagiousness of COVID-19—as well as early indications that choral singing may create particularly transmissible settings—make it essential that all of our programming and performing decisions put the safety of our students, staff, and community first.

With that in mind, we have decided that the Girl Choir of South Florida will be completely virtual this fall. Making this decision now, and for the entirety of the fall semester, allows us to put our full attention on our re-envisioned choral education in a virtual space for our members. Since we pivoted to online learning in March, we have gained valuable experience and gathered important feedback. Now, we have prepared an enriched curriculum to take advantage of the many resources and modalities that online learning makes available, that explores new technologies, and welcomes special guests and collaborators. We look forward to providing a choral experience that is engaging and rewarding in new and exciting ways!

New Families

The Girl Choir of South Florida offers exceptional choral music training for girls, ages 6 to 18 years old. No experience is required, but a love of singing and enthusiasm for music is essential.

** COVID-19 AUDITION UPDATE **

Due to the restrictions on public gatherings and social distancing measures, the Girl Choir of South Florida is temporarily waiving auditions for new singers until further notice. New singers will be automatically placed into the entry-level division based on their current age. Once social distancing rules have been lifted, students may be asked to complete a ‘new singer assessment’, in addition to classroom observations, to ensure the best placement within our levels.

If your child is interested in joining the Girl Choir of South Florida for the 2020-21 season (September 2020 to mid-May 2021) please complete and submit the form at the link below:
