For over 30 years, Michael has brought listeners the best in American roots music—from the blues and gospel to bluegrass, protest songs, and contemporary singer-songwriters. His show also celebrates both local and nationally touring musicians through in-studio performances and interviews.

The Girl Choir will share folk songs from around the world—including music from Georgia, Ireland, South Africa, and Finland—along with selections from rich oral traditions here in the United States. This special appearance offers a sneak preview of the choir’s upcoming winter concert, A Snowy Day.
