Spring Concert: Earth, Water, Fire, Air
What connects us to the natural world and to each other? The Girl Choir of South Florida’s Spring concert, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, explores this question through music inspired by the elements. Featuring a rich variety of genres and styles, the program includes Andrea Ramsey’s grounded “Truth,” Ethan Sperry’s Bollywood-inspired “Barso Re,” and Jonathan R. Pieslak’s fiery “Solar Flares.” The concert culminates in Anna Dembska’s powerful “Kore Chant,” where all ensembles join together to remind us of our collective strength and the transformative power of nature: “She changes everything she touches, and everything she touches changes.”
