With our 20th season underway, we have some big staff updates to share!
As we say a heartfelt goodbye to Assistant Director Ms. Amanda Goldberg & Accompanist Carolyn Morgan, we are thrilled to welcome Carina Inoue & Lilly Rogers to the GCSF family.
Fond Farewells
After countless years of dedicated service, our beloved piano accompanist, Ms. Carolyn Morgan has decided to retire. Ms. Morgan has been an integral part of our choir, providing not only exceptional musicianship but also unwavering support and encouragement to all of us. Her talent and passion have left a lasting mark on our music and hearts! |
We want to extend our endless gratitude to Amanda Goldberg, who, after two incredible years, recently left our team to pursue a graduate degree in Choral Performance at Michigan State University. As an alum-turned-director, Ms. Goldberg played an instrumental role in shaping Concert Choir’s growth. Her impact on GCSF has been immeasurable and we wish her all the best in her continued education! |
Warm Welcomes
We are excited to welcome Carina Inoue as our new accompanist! Her wealth of experience and true passion for choral accompaniment have already begun enriching our rehearsals this season. Ms. Inoue’s musical talents and collaborative spirit are sure to shine at GCSF upcoming concerts and we’re looking forward to a beautiful season of music-making together. |
We are also thrilled to announce that Music Director at The Blake School and beloved GCSF alumn, Lilly Rogers, has returned to volunteer with Concert Choir! As a former choir member, Lilly knows firsthand the impact of our program, and we are endlessly grateful to her for sharing her time and talents with us again. |
A few words from Lilly: “I am so excited to be back and working with Girl Choir again this season. Being in Girl Choir is an experience that has stayed with me my whole life, and one I couldn’t be more grateful for. I spent my whole childhood being bused to rehearsals and concerts, and spending every summer jetting off to new destinations for tour. Stepping back into rehearsals now brings a wave of nostalgia as well the excitement of a whole new group. Getting to help shape the choir I was once a part of feels like a dream. I can’t wait to make new memories and relive some of the past as well this season!” |
This season promises to be full of memorable moments, and we are grateful beyond measure to have such a strong community to share it with!
