Executive Artistic Director
A proud alumna of the Girl Choir of South Florida, Lilly brings both deep institutional connection and a strong background in music education and youth arts leadership. She currently serves as Music Specialist at The Blake School, where she teaches general music, directs choirs and theater productions, and develops interdisciplinary arts experiences for students ages 2 through 14.
Lilly attended Florida State University, where she sang in and choreographed for the award-winning a cappella ensemble Vox. During her time there, she served as both Executive Director and Performance Director, leading the ensemble to appearances at ICCA competitions and festivals throughout the South.
After spending time in Boston, Lilly returned to South Florida to reconnect with the vibrant musical community that shaped her as a young artist. Over the past year on Girl Choir’s artistic staff, she has become a trusted and beloved presence for singers and families alike.
Speaking about her role at GCSF’s Executive Artistic Director, Lilly shared:
“Girl Choir was foundational to my musical development and growth as a person. The lessons, friendships, and experiences I gained through this organization continue to shape who I am today. It is an incredible honor to step into this role and continue building a culture of safety, joy, collaboration, and musical excellence for the next generation of singers.”
Lilly is also passionate about increasing access to high-quality educational repertoire. Through her teaching, she began an archival initiative she calls “The Pooh Project” after discovering the 1930s collection The Hums of Pooh by composer H. Fraser-Simson, based on the writings of A. A. Milne. Lilly is transcribing the collection into modern engraving standards so that choral directors and teachers can more easily access and use this thoughtful, age-appropriate repertoire with young singers.
